Maria's journey: A story of resilience and new beginnings
When Maria, a newcomer mother of two, arrived with limited English and no local support, she faced immense challenges. Through MHFO's Newcomer & Settlement Support, Childcare Support, Employment & Skills Development, and Mental Health & Wellness programs, Maria found her footing. Within six months, she secured employment, built a support network, and began a new chapter with confidence and hope. Her story is a testament to the power of community and comprehensive support.
